Dodgers star changes due to Corona and removes mask at title party

The Los Angeles Dodgers have won the World Series for the first time in 32 years. The California team, which had raised the glass twice in the last three years, decided the sixth final MLB game against the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 and the series 4-2 for themselves.

In the final game of the baseball season, however, it wasn’t the historic success of the Dodgers that sparked the big discussion, but two substitutions. In the sixth inning, Rays coach Kevin Cash initially pulled his pitcher Blake Snell off the field, even though his team was leading. Right after that, the Dodgers showed up and laid the groundwork to win the title in just a few minutes in the seventh inning.

In the eighth inning, Dodgers player Justin Turner had to leave the field. The third baseman had tested positive for the corona virus. The MLB and Dodgers were only informed of the positive test during the game, League chief Rob Manfred confirmed after the game. “Then we immediately isolate it to prevent spread,” the commissioner said. So far so good.

But to celebrate the victory, Turner returned to the field. The 35-year-old joined his teammates with mouth and nose protection to celebrate with them. Turner also wore the mask when he was photographed with the trophy, the Commissioner’s Trophy. Later, however, he took it off for the joint winning photo with the team.

Turner wrote on Twitter: “I feel great, I don’t have any symptoms. I just experienced all the emotions you can imagine. I can’t believe I can’t be out there partying with my boys! But I am very proud of this team. “

The incident, naturally, sheds a bad light on MLB’s concept of protection. Dodgers president Andrew Friedman, who sat next to third baseman in the winning photo, said after the game, according to the New York Times, that Turner was paying attention to his teammates, especially those with whom he had never before been in close contact. Also, Turner did not speak to reporters, instead only celebrating with teammates he had been in contact with before and who now have to be screened and quarantined anyway.

Friedman went on to say that he still doesn’t know when the Dodgers will return to Los Angeles. For now, he is scheduled to return to the hotel for testing and contact tracing. (pre)

21 examples of how weird Instagram influencers look from the outside

Regardless of whether the influencer is a worthy, honorable profession or not, the fact is: the practice of this profession (or “profession”) is a cornucopia of the bizarre and absurd for observers.

Instagram has been in our lives for ten years. Insta has already had a strong influence on our society and has even opened a new profession: influencerism. It’s basically about pretty people filming their lives and generating likes (and therefore money) for it. Nice.

As all influencers will say, of course there is a lot of work behind this, giving free time and tons of talent, will, strength, courage,[anyvirtuehere[beliebigeTugendhier[cualquiervirtudaquí[beliebigeTugendhier…
