The 19-year-old student from Tägerwilen is “the best voice in Germany”. He won with his coaches Rea Garvey and Samu Haber.

A Swiss woman is “the best voice of Germany”: Paula Dalla Corte from Thurgau has won the tenth season of “The Voice of Germany”. The 19-year-old student received the most votes from the audience for her final three appearances on Sunday night with about 44 percent (read our portrait of the Thurgau voice miracle: Paula Dalla Corte sings great, and has personality).

The talented team of singers Samu Haber and Rea Garvey won over with London Grammar’s song “Strong,” as well as in duets with their coaches (“Someone Better”) and guest star Sarah Connor (“Bye Bye”). Dalla Corte lives in Tägerwilen, a municipality in Thurgau bordering Kreuzlingen and Konstanz.

The 19-year-old defeated Oliver Henrich (39) from Wülfrath near Wuppertal, the good-humored duo Mael (19) and Jonas (24) from Koblenz, Alessandro Pola (30) at the pre-Christmas show on Saturday 1 shortly after midnight from Karlsruhe and Tosari Udayana (19) from Hannover.

The nearly four-hour live final from Berlin took place for the first time without an audience. Also, due to crown rules, candidates and coaches were not allowed to hug each other for the entire anniversary season and had to be evaluated regularly.
