Again, bad news from the Swiss industry: Winterthur’s Kistler Instruments company has announced job cuts. 190 jobs will be eliminated worldwide. At the Winterthur ZH headquarters alone, 30 employees are affected, as reported by the «Landbote».
The job cuts are justified by the difficult economic situation. Global structural change in the auto industry has hit the company hard, they say. This line of business represents 70 percent of Kistler’s sales.
