Together with the advice center for accident prevention, Prowork Tools Handels & Vertriebs GmbH recalls a respirator. The reason is an incorrectly declared protective effect.

For users of the mask with the designation “KN95 / CE FFP2 Face Mask” by the manufacturer “ANHUI QINGQING LABORATORY MASK CO., LTD” there is a risk of insufficient protection against irreversible damage to health. This was announced by the Federal Office of Consumer Affairs on Friday. The affected masks can be identified by the package label.

The affected respiratory masks were offered in Switzerland by Prowork Tools on the website www.prowork-tools.ch and sold to companies that sold the masks through other sales channels and intermediaries. Other respiratory masks with the “KN95” designation are not affected by this recall.

Affected customers are requested to stop using the respirator and to contact Prowork Tools Handels & Vertriebs GmbH in Galgenen SZ for a compatible replacement product.
