Akanji’s infection does not go back to Shaqiri. In this regard, the Swiss Football Association received prior verbal information that the positive result of Shaqiri’s test is probably due to a previous infection and that it is therefore not infectious. This arose from an additional blood test with reliable detection of antibodies.
