England: Tottenham win again
Tottenham have won again for the first time after 4 league games without a win. In a 3-0 home win over Leeds United, Heung-min Son scored his 100th goal in a Spurs jersey. The Londoners’ other goals were scored by Harry Kane from a penalty and Toby Alderweireld. Thanks to the victory, Tottenham climbed to third place in the table.
Scotland: Rangers win emotional “Old Firm”
The Rangers won the Glasgow “Old Firm” derby against arch rival Celtic 1-0. Celtic’s Callum McGregor scored in the 70th minute after teammate Nir Bitton received the red card in the 62nd minute. Rangers Cedric Itten came on in the 77th minute, Celtics Albian Ajeti was not used. Thanks to their 14th consecutive victory, the Rangers lead the table with a new advantage of 19 points over the second Celtic. Before the game, both teams remembered the victims of the Ibrox disaster, in which exactly 50 years ago 66 spectators of the “Old Firm” died after a massive panic.
