For their part, those attending the party reacted violently: they sought refuge in the side streets and began breaking windows, overturning flowerpots and erecting barricades with garden chairs. Hooded youths broke the windows of the Facincani restaurant and began to dump the restaurant’s inventory to the emergency services. About two dozen police officers lined up in two lines and advanced.
