The Leonhard primary school in Basel has found a solution to this problem: the students warm themselves with military blankets from the armory, while the room is ventilated every 15 minutes. This reported “20 minutes”.
Non-bureaucratic agreement with the armory
The blankets were organized by the rector Christian Döbeli after students complained about the cold in the classrooms at a meeting of delegates.
He asked the armory if they could provide blankets, as the rector is quoted in the newspaper: “It was all very little bureaucratic. The blankets were actually arranged within a phone call. “
Then a transport company brought the six pallets with the 600 military blankets to the Kohlenberg for free. The students are happy: “I think these blankets are really a good idea. Especially when it’s windy, it can be very cold in the classroom, ”one student told the newspaper. This also means that you can focus better again.
