  However, no special tests were started, the groups were only “seen in real life”. The results refer to people who had to undergo corona tests for various reasons, for example, because they had symptoms or had had contact with sick people. “The proportion of those who tested positive, whether symptomatic or asymptomatic, was 33 percent lower in the vaccinated group than in the unvaccinated group,” said epidemiologist Ran Balicer. He speaks of an “encouraging result showing that the vaccine is also effective in older people.” Therefore, he expects the number of severely ill corona patients to decrease shortly.

  Mutated coronavirus: two hotels in St. Moritz under quarantine
