Joe and Jill Biden thank Corona helpers for Christmas – Trump wishes “MERRY CHRISTMAS!”
The future president of the United States, Joe Biden, and his wife Jill thanked the many helpers in the corona pandemic in a Christmas message.

“We know it was a very difficult year for many in our country,” Biden said in a video posted on Twitter on Friday. Many people have trouble finding work, putting food on the table, or paying rent. “We are very grateful to those who put their lives in danger for all of us. And we thank the scientists and researchers who worked on the incredible advancement of vaccines, ”said Jill Biden.

Upcoming Vice President Kamala Harris also recalled the victims during the Corona crisis in her greeting message. “I think of all the families in which, as Joe always says, there is a chair at the table that will remain empty this year,” he said and wished those affected strength. The Bidens and Harris inauguration is January 20.
The current Donald Trump tweeted Friday in capital letters: “MERRY CHRISTMAS!” and posted a greeting on the White House website. In it, he also thanked the military, police and people from the health sector.
