Andrea Ellenberger’s career was repeatedly held back by injuries. Before her current injury, she had torn her cruciate ligament twice, the last time in 2016. However, the chronic back pain that accompanied her for a long time was almost worse. In the spring of 2017, a broken disc was removed. Since then, Ellenberger’s path has been climbing for the first time. In 2018/2019 he completed a whole World Cup season. The highlight so far was the gold medal in the team event at the World Championship in Are. Last winter he was regularly in points for the first time. At the opening of the World Cup in Sölden this year, she finished eleventh in the giant slalom.
