After an illegal sex party in Brussels: will the gutter leak now become a gay icon?

A street artist erects a monument to MEP Jozsef Szajer, who was recently blown up at an illegal sex party in Brussels. And the gutter, which has become world famous, is now decorated with a plaque.

Jozsef Stajer was immediately repudiated by his old friend Viktor Orban: his actions were “unacceptable” and “incompatible with the values of our political family,” declared the Hungarian prime minister. The fact that Szajer resigned from the ruling Fidesz party, which he founded with Orban more than 30 years ago, was “the only correct decision,” Orban said.

Orban left open which “actions” he classified as “unacceptable.” Was it the fact that Szajer was attending a sex party in Brussels, even though the crown lockdown rules currently prohibit it? Was it the ecstasy pills found in your backpack? Was Orban offended that Szajer was trying to escape down a gutter when the police arrived?

Or was the problem for Orban more the fact that only the men were participating in the sex party, so it was a gay orgy? After all, Orban and Fidesz have been fighting for a traditional understanding of gender for years and are not afraid of restricting the rights of gays, lesbians and transgender people in Hungary.

This has also now been pointed out by an Italian street artist that Joszef Szajer placed a monument with an image in Rome. “Jozsef Szajer: the new Hungarian gay icon” is the name of the play and shows the bearded EU MP with a bare torso and leather belt. His arm is decorated with a tattoo with a coat of arms in the colors of the rainbow family. In the background, the logo of Orban’s Fidesz party and a group of naked men. F ** k Orban! I am what I am “-” Fuck Orban, I am what I am, “says the caption.

In her statement, Laika writes about her image: “I wish for a world in which even Szajer can be free to live his sexuality as he believes, without having to hide from the eyes of his own party. Many thanks to Joszef for the hard blow against intolerance. From today you are the new Hungarian gay icon ».

Finally, the artist adds: “But next time respect the anti-corona rules!”

But not only in Rome, but also in Brussels itself, the Jozsef Szajer affair has now received a memory. The gutter, which has now become world famous, received a commemorative plaque of four Hungarians who lived in Brussels. It reads next to the photo of Joszef Szayer: «This is where the political career of Jozsef Szajer, Fidesz MEP and member of the European People’s Party, ended when he ran over the sewer in front of the police after an illegal and ecstatic orgy during the Covid pandemic -19 tried to escape on November 27, 2020 ».

Besides the Manneken Pis, the Grand Place and the Atomium, Brussels now has another tourist attraction.
