Total for the next U-20 World Cup in Edmonton

The next U-20 World Cup will be played entirely in Edmonton. Spectators are not allowed to games scheduled for December 26 through January 5. Originally, the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) had planned not only Edmonton but also Red Deer, which is also located in the Canadian province of Alberta, as the venue for the youth tournament. The corona pandemic has forced those responsible for the IIHF to rethink. The World Youth Championship will take place in a bubble in the same setting as the NHL playoffs.
