All visitors who visited two bars in Altdorf over the weekend must be quarantined. Hundreds of people are likely to be affected. In the canton of Nidwalden, 400 people must be quarantined.
Last weekend there were people in at least two bars in Altdorf who tested positive for Covid-19 shortly thereafter. Contact Tracing Uri tried to contact all registered visitors to the bar since Wednesday afternoon to pray for them to go into quarantine. Several of those affected confirm it. There should be hundreds of people.
According to one of the bar’s operators, the Gastro Suisse protection concept is being used in his restaurant. In particular, visitors must leave their contact details, which will be controlled by security personnel. The counter area is secured with protective walls. The bar is still open, according to the operator.
Quarantine for 400 party guests in Nidwalden
In Nidwalden, too, party guests must be quarantined. As announced by the canton on Thursday morning, a younger person visited the Happy-Day bar in Wolfenschiessen and the Senkel youth culture center in Stans on October 9-10. Both locations have a valid protection concept, but do not include a separate sector or mask requirement. Since there was a mixed audience, it was not possible to clearly delineate the contacts, so the canton doctor ordered a ten-day quarantine for all guests and employees. Around 400 people are affected.
