You can tell that something is wrong when you see that there are no parking spaces on the Bahnstrasse. Some of them with stripes of light and blue light.

The confluence with Veilchenweg, a dead end, is blocked. Here are single-family houses, older, with little change and peeling paint. A canton police van parked in front of you, people in uniform or full body protective suits go in and out.

In Buchs, a father has probably killed three children in the last few hours, and then himself. Police received a report from a third party this Monday morning at 7.15am

News of the alleged murder followed by suicide spread like wildfire in Buchs on Monday morning. The family was nice but low-key, passersby say. Mayor Urs Affolter was informed by the police that a homicide had occurred in his community: “I am completely shocked, this is incredibly tragic,” he says.

The dead were found by the suspect’s wife when she was returning from work as she entered their common place of residence. The cantonal police announced this in the evening and also stated: “Based on the investigations so far, the use of a weapon can be ruled out.” Therefore, it seems likely that drugs will kill children; the father himself had access to them because of his work.
