On Wednesday afternoon, a hiker († 57) had an accident on Mülenen BE in Kandertal. The man was walking down a mountain path and fell. Despite rescue measures, the man died at the scene of the accident.
“According to the current state of knowledge, the man was accompanied by a woman from the intermediate station of the Niesenbahn in the direction of Mülenen. For reasons that still need to be clarified, the 57-year-old suddenly lost his balance and fell down a slope, ”writes the Bern canton police.
No possibility of resuscitation
