2020 was not an easy year for most. Corona ruled the world. Sports do not escape either. Events were canceled or were held in front of empty seats. A mask suddenly became an integral part of all sports.
And yet, there are people who keep 2020 in a very special memory. One of them is the former skier Frida Hansdotter (35). The Swede announced shortly before the turn of the year that she had given birth to her first child. It’s a boy, has not revealed the name yet.
The boy was clearly in a hurry. Actually, he shouldn’t have been born until the new year. It now saw the light of day a week earlier, on December 28. “2020 has turned out to be the best year of my life,” admits the 35-year-old on Instagram.
Ski-Welt congratulates her
Congratulations are not long in coming. Many past and present skiers rejoice for the friendly Swede.
The Holdener family also wishes their young mother the best. Daniela, Wendy’s mother, leaves some nice words on behalf of the whole family. Wendy and Frida became good friends over the years.
Hansdotter celebrated his greatest sporting success at the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang. There he won the gold medal in the slalom. The resignation occurred in March 2019. (fmü)
