SVP launches online petition
SVP Graubünden created an online petition on the last day of the December session. For Covid-19 measures, it requires a longer lead time and clearly measurable criteria. “As a party that is not represented in government, we have tried to take our position to parliament, says Roman Hug, Graubünden’s senior vice president. “Our options as a parliamentary group are very limited in the current situation, so we are bringing this request and request to the attention of the government,” Hug said.
The petition was launched due to the large number of concerned responses from the population that reached the SVP. Specifically, the party demands that the government adhere to the following principles:
- For all cantonal Covid-19 regulations, there is a minimum Five-day lead time to be observed.
- The following is with clearly measurable criteria to define in advance when they will lift or squeeze.
The petition was activated on December 4, when the Graubünden government “implemented the harshest measures overnight. All gastronomy was taken hostage, ”says the senior vice president. “In the 10th month of the pandemic, it should be possible to allow a period of five days for further action; for the affected companies, for the communities and for the people of Graubünden, ”said Hug. As an example of clearly measurable criteria, Hug cites clearly defined case numbers.
