Not long, then Google will officially introduce the Pixel 4a. Now a current leak has confirmed the design of the Pixel 4a.
Google Pixel 4a specs and CAD rendering
The render images come from Pigout and show the Pixel 4a in all its glory, if the design can be called magnificent.
- 5.83-inch OLED HD + display with hole punch
- Pnapdragon 730 processor
- 4 GB of RAM
- 64 / 128GB of storage
- 12.2MP main camera
- 8MP front camera
- 3080mAh battery
On the back of the Pixel 4a is the camera hump, which strongly recalls the design of the iPhone 11. The individual camera sensor seems a bit lost, and the LED flash really can’t change this impression.
The fingerprint sensor is also located on the back. Since the Pixel 4a is a budget smartphone, it is completely fine to do without a sensor under the screen.
As of yet, there is no price information. So it will be interesting to see if the price directly competes with the iPhone SE 2 or if it sets below.
Pixel 4a GeekBench appeared
The fact that it can’t be long before the Pixel 4a is released can also be seen by the fact that a GeekBench of the Pixel 4a with the Google codename sunfish has just appeared fresh out of the press.
In testing, the Pixel 4a is on par with other Snapdragon 730 devices, such as the Redmi K20. A good but not excellent score.
Face to face with iPhone SE 2
Even if you don’t like listening to it, the Pixel 4a will have to bear the comparison with the already released iPhone SE 2. Both devices are in the higher budget segment. The first tests will show who will finally be one step ahead. However, the iPhone SE 2 should already be clearly ahead in the processor category. The A13 Bionic is currently the most powerful processor in this price range.
