Visiting grandparents, shopping at Migros, writing to the central office: the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) accompanies the Swiss population at all times with advice for all situations. The youngest: Before a one-night stand, sexual partners would have to shower.

The office appears to have concluded that the need for its protective hand has spread even faster than the corona virus since March. The reason for the recommendations for spontaneous sex meetings was a request from “Nau.ch”. The internet platform asked about it because countries such as Great Britain or Belgium were restricting opening hours due to Covid.

A spokesperson cautions that the risk of infection can hardly be eliminated with privacy.

However, the shower does not protect against the crown, the BAG specifies later in “20 minutes”: it is more for general hygiene. At least one can be happy that the office doesn’t quarantine overnight adventures with a ten-day quarantine like overseas trips.
