Faced with the Corona crisis, the federal and state governments want to reach a coordinated European regulation to prevent ski tourism before January 10. The prime ministers of the federal states agreed on this on Wednesday with Chancellor Angela Merkel (66), as their decision document shows. “The federal government is asked to work at the European level to ensure that ski tourism is not allowed until January 10,” it confirmed in its government statement Thursday morning.

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte (56) had also spoken out in favor of a transnational regulation and suggested that the season should wait until January 10. It also receives the support of French President Emmanuel Macron (42). In the dispute over the opening of the next winter sports season in Corona conditions, the northern regions of Italy have requested a meeting with the government in Rome.
