There are changes to the Swiss Board of Directors. The airline announced that the two long-standing board members Harry Hohmeister (55) and Ulrik Svensson (58) resigned from the board in early April.
For health reasons, Svensson has resigned from his position as Chief Financial Officer of the Lufthansa Group and is also retiring from the Swiss Board of Directors. Hohmeister was head of Switzerland from April 2009 to the end of 2015. Now he is also leaving the oversight body for the Swiss airline. His new job: Now he must ensure that the parent company, Lufthansa, can overcome the crown crisis as unscathed as possible.

Reto Francioni, chairman of the Swiss board of directors, said in the message: “I thank Harry Hohmeister and Ulrik Svensson for their extraordinary commitment to our Swiss.”
The two exits on the Swiss Board of Directors will be replaced by the Executive Board of the Lufthansa Group, Christina Foerster and Detlef Kayser. (koh)
