According to information from the Valais authorities, the Zurich canton police detained a young man at the airport on Tuesday morning. Police announced this in a message Tuesday night. The 17-year-old Dutch tourist had previously tested positive for the corona virus in Valais. He wanted to travel abroad through the Zurich airport and escape his isolation. According to the police, his destination was Amsterdam airport.

Because she had evaded the isolation ordered by the health authorities, she was arrested and detained at the door by the Zurich cantonal police. So that she could even get to the door, the young woman brought with her a false negative corona test. According to the police, she confessed to faking it herself.

Criminal proceedings are now being initiated against the young woman at the Winterthur Youth Ombudsman for violating the Epidemic Law and for falsifying documents.

After “police processing” ended, she was transported back to Valais in an ambulance, the message continues.
