The minutes of the active zone are new for the successor of Charge 3. This personalized function measures the intensity and quality of training based on heart rate. So use this.
What are the minutes of the active zone?
The minutes in the active zone record the time spent on an activity that increases your heart rate. The World Health Organization recommends 150 minutes of moderate to intense activity per week. With Charge 4, 1 minute zone is collected for 1 minute of activity in the fat burning zone. There is 2 minute zone for 1 minute of activity in the cardio or high performance zone. This new custom feature measures the intensity and quality of training based on heart rate and motivates you to exercise even more.

How does it work
Start on your fitness tracker training – in our example this was Treadmill (even if none exists). And then run or jump.
While the recording is still running, you can swipe right until the icon appears with three arrows pointing upwards (looks like three simple house roofs). Your hotspot minutes are listed here. After completing the workout, this number also appears in the basic view of the tracker, just below the time (for example, touch the number of steps to change the display). After synchronization, the information also appears in the smartphone application.
Note: This was done with an Android smartphone (Android 9.1) and the Fitbit app version 3.19.2.
