Real Madrid wins the Clásico against Barcelona 3-1. With that, the Madrilenians end their mini-crisis, Barcelona is stagnant.
Real Madrid take a safe 3-1 victory in Barcelona. Sergio Ramos scored the decisive goal to put the 2-1 penalty (63rd). This is atypical: Ruud van Nistelrooy scored the last Real Madrid goal from a penalty in a Primera División Clásico in 2007.
Early goals
The game had started brilliantly. Federico Valverde scored 1-0 in the 5th minute after a pass from Karim Benzema. Only 3 minutes later, Ansu Fati tied again. Here, too, the preparatory work was more difficult than the goal: Jordi Alba prevailed on the left and served the 17-year-old, who shot himself to become the youngest scorer in the 21st century Classic.
The last point in injury time was set by Luka Modric. For Barcelona it is a setback after the 5-1 victory in the Champions League. The Catalans are only tenth in the standings and could slide even further. Real Madrid, however, shows a reaction after two defeats.
