Before noon, an employee of a horticultural company was carrying out dredging work on steep terrain in Oftringen. “The little bulldozer must have slipped,” the Aargau canton police said. He and the worker sitting on him fell about 15 meters down the slope. He stopped at the seat in the house below.
Ambulance and police found the worker dead next to the bulldozer on the ground. Although they tried to revive him immediately, any help came too late for the 45-year-old man, as police continue to write.
The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet clear. The police have started their investigation. The Zofingen-Kulm prosecutor has opened an investigation.
