The self-proclaimed “King Tiger” is on everyone’s lips thanks to the Netflix documentary series “Big cats and their predators”. The true story about strange zoo owner and country singer Joseph “Exotic Joe” Maldonado-Passage thrills millions.
For the Easter weekend, Netflix now has a special gift ready for all fans. On April 12, an extra episode titled “The Tiger King and I” will be released. The special episode was announced last week by Jeff Lowe, one of the series’ protagonists, and has now been officially confirmed by Netflix on Twitter.

The show is moderated by Joel McHale (48). And while neither Joe Exotic nor his arch rival Carole Baskin (58) will appear, there will be new interviews with the series’ main characters. For example, former GW Zoo manager John Reinke, former campaign manager Joshua Dial, Exotics ex-husband John Finlay, former Saff Zoo employee, former GW zoo manager Erik Cowie, producer Rick Kirkman and Jeff and Lauren Lowe discuss their lives after the release of the Netflix documentation.
