It is not the Champions League, but YB will be able to appear on the European stage at least until the end of the year. Following the disappointing loss to Midtjylland, the Bernese delivered a convincing performance in the Europa League playoffs against Tirana. With an undisputed 3-0 victory, Gerardo Seoane’s team progressed to the group stage.

It was a game on goal at Wankdorf from the start. YB drove from the first minute and should have taken the lead early. Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu, one of the best on the pitch, missed a first-rate opportunity in front of the guest goalkeeper (9th).
