Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden responded to US President Donald Trump’s suggestion to fire prominent health expert Anthony Fauci. “I have a better idea: Pick me and I’ll be the Dr. Hire Fauci and we’ll fire Donald Trump!” ”Biden said Monday during a campaign appearance in Cleveland, Ohio.
Immunologist Fauci is part of the White House coronavirus task force. While President Trump is in favor of a return to normal despite the high number of cases, Fauci is campaigning for protective measures to contain the corona virus. Trump has criticized the renowned expert several times in the past, accused him of mistakes and most recently described him as a “catastrophe.”
On Sunday he indicated that he wanted to fire Fauci after the elections. When the crowd in Florida yelled “fire Fauci,” Trump said, “Don’t tell anyone, but let me wait until a little after the election. I appreciate the advice. “

The day before the US election, Biden urged the election of incumbent Trump. “This guy is a disgrace,” Biden said, referring to Trump’s handling of the crown pandemic, in which Biden accuses the president of failure.
The former vice president of the United States lamented the more than 230,000 deaths and the high number of new infections every day. “The first step in defeating this virus is defeating Donald Trump,” Biden said. If he wins, he will act on the first day in office to control the pandemic.

The 77-year-old, who is ahead of Republican Trump in a national poll, asked people to exercise their right to vote. “The power to change this country is in your hands,” Biden said. “One more day! Tomorrow we have a chance to end a presidency that has divided this nation.”
