According to the findings of the Basel-Landschaft police in Basel, a 41-year-old driver from Wahlen was driving down Wahlenstrasse in the direction of Laufen on Saturday night shortly after 9:15 p.m. In a right turn, he lost control of his vehicle and hit a wall twice. A mailbox mounted on the second wall was ripped off by the collision and thrown into a parked car. Police wrote in a message Sunday morning.
