Dimitri Oberlin reinforces FC Bayern fans

FC Bayern fans have gotten a newcomer for the second half of the third division. Dimitri Oberlin, a 23-year-old attacking player from Switzerland, signed a contract with last year’s third division champions until June 30, 2021. Oberlin last played for top club FC Basel, but had terminated his contract there at End of the year.

“We were looking for reinforcements for our offense not only since Leon Dajaku moved to Union Berlin. Dimitri has already demonstrated his skills at the highest level in the past. We are very happy that he has joined our young team and we are convinced that he can help us quickly, ”said Campus Director Jochen Sauer.

Forward Oberlin signed with FC Bayern fans until June 30, 2021.

Oberlin was born on September 27, 1997 in Yaoundé (Cameroon) and, therefore, has not yet entered the age regulation for over 23 years for second teams. After his youth at FC Zurich, the exceptional Swiss player played for RB Salzburg, FC Empoli, Zulte Waregem and FC Basel, among others. At the top Swiss club he had his best moment in the 2017/18 season with four goals in the group stage of the Champions League.

I am looking forward to the task with the second team of the 3rd division and I will do my best to restore the trust of those responsible soon, ”said Oberlin after signing his contract. With the amateurs he will go hunting for goals with the number 7 in the future.
