Reus strikes 3 seconds after being substituted – HSV player attacks Dresden fan
Borussia Dortmund easily dominate the first round of the German Cup. Swiss coach Lucien Favre’s team beat third division MSV Duisburg 5-0.
Dortmund’s clear victory was aided by a 38th minute red card against Duisburg defender Dominic Volkmer following an emergency braking foul on Erling Haaland. Thorgan Hazard used the free kick to make it 3-0 after young Englishmen Jadon Sancho (14th / penalty) and rookie Jude Bellingham (30th) had previously met. At 17 years and 77 days, Bellingham is the youngest scorer in BVB history.

Scandal in Hamburg
The Hamburg HSV has already been eliminated from the cup. There was a 1: 4 slaughterhouse against Dynamo Dresden, who had been relegated to the third division; after the game there was a scandal. Central defender Toni Leistner, born in Dresden and wearing the Dynamo jersey from 2010 to 2014, was provoked by a fan. Leistner was about to give a television interview and suddenly jumped the parapet into the stands. There he buttoned a Dresden fan that apparently insulted his family.
“I will not let them insult my family,” he said later on “Sky.” An apology followed on Instagram at night.
Promotion to the Bundesliga Arminia Bielefeld with Swiss Cedric Brunner also made an embarrassing appearance. They lost to fourth division club Rot-Weiss Essen with 0: 1. Simon Engelmann scored the decisive goal in the half hour. After Hertha Berlin, Arminia is already the second Bundesliga team to undo in the first round of the cup.
