On Tuesday, October 13, 2020, around 1:20 pm, a robbery took place in Denner am Spalenring, near Burgfelderplatz. Previous investigations by the Criminal Police of the Public Ministry revealed that two unknown persons were suspected by the branch staff of having stolen goods in the store. An argument broke out as he tried to contain the men. One of the perpetrators threatened an employee with a stabbing weapon. This is what the Basel prosecutor wrote in a message on Wednesday morning.

As a result, the strangers managed to escape in the direction of Burgfelderstrasse. An immediate chase was unsuccessful.

1. Strange, 25-30 years old, slim stature, brown hair color, slightly curly hairstyle, wearing a red jacket, jeans and a colored mask.
2. Strange, white skin color, slim stature, wearing a black wolf skin jacket, blue jeans, dark wool hat, spoke French.
