On Tuesday around 9 am, a person discovered the body of a man in his apartment in Clarens VD, the canton Vaud police said. Apparently he died a few days ago.
The victim is a 59-year-old Swiss. He was stabbed multiple times. Investigators were able to convict the alleged perpetrator: she is a French citizen in her thirties. The woman was arrested in France by the French authorities at the request of the Ministry of Justice.
The stabber admitted what he had done. The prosecutor on duty opened an investigation and transferred the investigation to the criminal police, in cooperation with the forensic police unit, to investigate the circumstances of this premeditated murder in Clarens VD.
