- Due to a positive Corona case, the entire EHC Biel team is in quarantine until November 6.
- The club announced this Tuesday afternoon.
- Zeeland would have been in action 4 times this week, all games to be postponed.
At the moment, EHC Biel is no longer returning to the ice. The entire team must go into quarantine after Petteri Lindbohm tested positive for the corona virus on Monday night.
The quarantine in Biel will last until November 6. Therefore, the next 4 games of the Zeelanders must be postponed. The following encounters are affected:
- Tuesday October 27: EHC Biel – Rapperswil-Jona Lakers
- Thursday October 29: EHC Biel – Geneva Napkin
- Friday October 30: Ambri-Piotta – EHC Biel
- Sunday, November 1: EHC Biel – SC Bern
It has not yet been determined when the games will be rescheduled. Ten days ago, Tino Kessler, a player from Biel, had already tested positive, but at that time it was decided not to quarantine the entire team.
After Friborg-Gottéron and Lugano, the Zeelanders are the third team in the National League to be knocked out in this way. Both Ticino and Freiburg are back in action.
