The head of the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) quietly awakens hope in the Corona crisis. “The development makes me cautiously optimistic, it looks like a turnaround,” said Anne Lévy (49) on SonntagsBlick.
The latest Corona numbers give a boost to this hope: On Tuesday, the Federal Office of Public Health reported 4,241 new infections, 238 hospital admissions and 142 new deaths. A slight decrease compared to the previous week.
But it is still too early to give the go-ahead. And in the event that the downward trend turns into the opposite in the coming weeks, the Minister of Health of the SP, Alain Berset (48) already has an adjustment plan prepared.
There is still a month left, so Christmas is just around the corner. The big questions: Will the 50 public event limit, sparking some backstage gossip, hold? Or will there be one or another Christmas concert on a larger scale? And do we only celebrate Christmas Eve with grandparents in a small group? Or will the upper limit of 10 be relaxed for private parties?
