Real Madrid vs Inter Milan: The duel of the third and fourth place in group B at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in Madrid was a bit surprising. Both had fought defensively in their previous games.
As expected, the defensive impurities also caused the Real double hit in 8 minutes:
- 25. Minute: Former Madrilene Achraf Hakimi makes a planned back pass to goalkeeper Samir Handanovic directly at the feet of Karim Benzema, who freely spins around the Inter goalkeeper and pushes him to make it 1-0.
- 33. Minute: Toni Kroos perfectly surrounds a corner kick in the head of Sergio Ramos who can finish the 2-0 without resistance. For the true captain it is the 100th goal in competition for the “real”. Legend has it that 55 of them fell by headlines.
After the two goals from the locals, the game finally accelerated and Inter Milan achieved the well deserved attack just 2 minutes later with a soft attack Connection stroke 1: 2:
- 35. Minute: Marcelo Brozovic finds Barella on the edge of the penalty area, who directs the ball, ingeniously and worth seeing, with the hoe towards Martínez, who is faster than Raphael Varane and scores 1: 2.
In the second half, both teams were much better defensively, with Milan’s guests pressing for the tie and having their first chance with him. 2: 2 rewarded:
- 68. Minute: After a high pass to the Real penalty area, Martínez heads Ivan Perisic, who shoots from a good 9 meters and defeats Thibaut Courtois with a low shot.
Shortly before the draw, Real Madrid coach Zinédine Zidane brought Rodrygo and Vinícius Júnior 2 fresh and fast players to the wings. And the two young men really caused a stir, and finally for him Royal victory.
- 80. Minute: Vinicius Junior is unlocked in the left outer lane. The Brazilian carries the ball flat in front of the goal, where Rodrygo is there and shoots the ball under the crossbar.
In the final stages, Inter again pressed the tie, but the home team took the important 3-2 victory over the finish line. The Madrilenians jump to third place in the table.
