Health Minister Olivier Véran also warned on Sunday that the May 11 date could falter if the pandemic is not sufficiently contained by then. Véran also dampened hope in the Le Parisien newspaper with a view to the summer holidays. I didn’t know if the beaches could be opened again. I would not buy a plane ticket personally.

Therefore, more buses and trains should drive again, and a mask requirement applies to people from the age of twelve. However, working at home should still be the rule, and people should rarely leave home, for example, to go shopping, to go to work or to the doctor. The next stages of relaxation are scheduled for May 11 and 18. The gradual opening of the school is only addressed in phase three.
