These are the most important crown measures in all Swiss cantons
Due to the increasing number of corona cases, several cantons are tightening their measures. Yesterday Bern and Zug announced new regulations, today Ticino. Nine cantons (still) “only” adhere to the BAG rules. Here is an overview of the patchwork quilt.
Where do I currently have to wear a mask and where not? Anyone who often crosses cantonal borders in everyday life can easily get confused. From the weekend, the measures will also be tightened in Bern, Zug and Ticino and it will be mandatory to wear a mask in stores. A total of twelve cantons now stipulate it.
Additional measures apply, such as rules about masks in restaurants, other indoor public spaces, or visitor limits in bars and clubs in various cantons.

Meanwhile, nine cantons have not yet decided to tighten the rules that are already applicable at the national level (such as the mandatory mask on public transport).

The most important finding that crystallized in the days before the corona virus is how limited the common sense of the general public is.
Not all of them, of course, but sadly too many for my liking.

the only thing this crisis shows is that the cantons are seen as too important, but don’t be fooled. Too much dependency and incompetence

It was about 100 meters above the canton border at the hardware store. There are no mask requirements when shopping there.
0 of the employees wore a mask. Approx. 80% of customers wore a mask. Certainly, employees can wear masks voluntarily.
First conclusion; it doesn’t work without compulsion.
Second conclusion; Even after months, many of them still have not penetrated that the virus is really dangerous and that their indifference is responsible for the measures being even more strict and having to be maintained for much longer than necessary.
