Lombardy is again seriously affected. As of tonight, night exit bans apply to the ten million citizens in this region, as well as in Milan and Bergamo: people can only leave their home between 11 pm and 5 am for reasons such as illness or work.

Starting Friday there will also be a night curfew in the Lazio region, to which the capital Rome belongs. Other measures for restaurants and bars have been in effect since Sunday: a maximum of six guests can sit per table in bars, from 6pm standing guests are not served. The bars also close at midnight.

Spain

The two-week confinement ends this week in the capital, Madrid. This was imposed by the central government against the will of the regional government. After the closure has opened, the city is considering closing the worst-hit urban areas and a nightly curfew. This possibility was also discussed for the whole of Spain, but for this the parliament would have to agree on the declaration of emergency, which was previously considered unlikely.

According to the Spanish Minister of Health, the situation is out of control, so stricter measures are necessary, which he is coordinating with the authorities. The pandemic will make life difficult for Spaniards for another five to six months.

Czech Republic

Corona numbers in the Czech Republic are growing rapidly, the Ministry of Health reports 14,958 new infections in one day. This prompts the government to implement a new blockade, which will take effect as of today.

The country has been in emergency since October 5. The Czech Republic has almost 10.7 million inhabitants, of which a total of almost 194,000 have been infected with Corona.
