Swiss hospitals must continue to improve. So that every crown patient receives the care they need. As the number of infected people continues to rise, the BAG reported 9,207 new infections on Friday. 279 people had to be hospitalized in the last 24 hours. Will measures be able to stop this worrying negative trend so that the health system does not collapse? It will be a race against time! This is also reflected in the latest figures for occupied intensive care beds, released by the federal government coordinated medical service (KSD).

While there were 200 intensive care patients due to Corona on Tuesday, there were already 261 on Friday. In total, the number of available intensive care beds increased from 1,078 to 1,095. Of these, 732 beds are occupied. Means: There are still 363 places for seriously ill patients.
