A cargo plane overturned yesterday on the runway at Geneva airport. Today, products on board are in more demand than ever: protective masks. The machine brings a million of them to Switzerland on this day. And that is just the beginning.
Ecommerce companies DeinDeal and My-Store have purchased around 150 million single-use surgical masks in China. Geneva real estate agency M3 was also there.
250,000 masks for those who urgently need them
With the first relaxation of the Federal Council on April 26, masks could become indispensable in everyday life. The first stores can reopen, under strict conditions. To keep infections low even after closure, Switzerland probably urgently needs protective masks.
DeinDeal and My-Store want to give away a quarter of this first million mask charge. They must be donated to those institutions that need protection the most. Spitex, emergency services, hospitals, nursing homes.
DeinDeal and My-Store are part of the Ringier media company, which also includes BLICK. DeinDeal CEO Allen Krief explains: “DeinDeal’s donation of a total of 250,000 skins is a matter of heart for us and Ringier.”
Your institution will receive 50,000 masks.
As an e-commerce company, the company can continue to operate almost without restrictions, and the current crisis has not affected it as much. However, many other companies were not granted this fortunate situation. “Therefore, it is important for us to get involved and give something back to the general public in the form of a mask donation,” says Allen Krief.
Organizers distribute a total of 250,000 face masks to five institutions with the greatest needs. Each of them receives 50,000 masks.
Does your employer urgently need protective masks? Or do you know a company that needs it urgently? Then complete the following form by Tuesday at midnight at the latest. BLICK selects five participating institutions. Shipping is handled by DeinDeal.
