It worked in summer, but the stress test comes in winter: Can mountain railways manage not to become a crown slingshot, even in cold temperatures and with more passengers? On Thursday morning, delegates from the Swiss Cable Car Association decided on protection recommendations for the upcoming season. The exact way in which they are implemented is ultimately decided by the individual mountain railways together with the corresponding canton.
