Corona: Migros announces Halloween despite infection risk

No Europa-Park, no Christmas market, no festivals. But does Halloween happen? Children walking from house to house carrying the virus around the neighborhood? The canton of Bern police say a clear “no”. “Dear children, dear parents, please refrain from Halloween street gatherings or door-to-door tours this year,” he says on Twitter.

Migros sees it differently. In a promotional video with the dubious caption “Just Live Well – Halloween,” she encourages customers to stock up on candy for children to visit. Nobody wears a mask. Nobody keeps their distance. Since most of the Swiss are not prepared for the festival, the retailer advertises that they have enough goodies, that is, sweets, in the country beforehand.
