On Sunday afternoon, the Zurich City Police, on behalf of the Canton of Zurich Health Department, informed a woman from Langstrasse District 4 about a positive Corona test. The person in question could only be found on Sunday afternoon, shortly before 3 p.m., and informed that he had tested positive for the corona virus. She had not previously been contacted by phone, as the Zurich city police announced on Tuesday.

Subsequent investigations by the city police showed that around 50 women live together in a small space on the property on Zurich’s Langstrasse. The “Lugano Bar”, known as the Kontaktbar, is also located in the building, where customers and prostitutes meet regularly.

Meanwhile, the cantonal medical service has ordered that some 50 women have to quarantine a roommate due to the positive result. The two police officers who informed the woman of the positive result were physically harassed by emotionally reactive partners. This changed her worn face masks. Therefore, it was decided that they would have to quarantine themselves after the mission. The 23-year-old woman who tested positive was taken to an isolation room on Sunday.
