Controversial doctor spread news about alleged deaths from vaccination in Lucerne: Nursing home ends cooperation
The doctor for the Ebikon house resident who died five days after the Covid vaccination is a known skeptic of the crown. The Höchweid nursing home has ended its collaboration with him.
(jus) The news caused a stir last Wednesday: a person from the Höchweid retirement home in Ebikon who had received a corona vaccine five days earlier died. That same night, Swissmedic’s pharmaceutical authority denied this, stating that a connection between death and Covid-19 vaccination was “highly unlikely” due to the medical history and course of the disease.
Now a report in the “Sonntagszeitung” shows: The doctor who distributed the report on the death is a well-known Corona skeptic. He runs a practice in the canton of Lucerne and has repeatedly appeared as a speaker at rallies in which he spoke out against the Federal Council’s Covid measures and the mask requirement. The newspaper has an email in which the doctor provides details of the patient’s medical history. Consequently, the resident of the home complained of pain in the urethra and stomach two days after the vaccination on Christmas Eve. After the patient was examined the following Sunday, he died two days later. According to the Sunday newspaper, professional colleagues publicly criticize the Lucerne family doctor’s approach because he may miss the symptoms of a urosepsis urinary tract infection and not treat it with antibiotics.
Neither the GP nor the Lucerne health department wanted to comment on the case when the newspaper asked. On the other hand, it is clear: the Höchweid nursing home ended its cooperation with the Lucerne doctor in the summer due to differences in the protection measures of the crown. The contract expired two days after the patient’s death.
