A large-scale coordinated traffic and criminal police check in the Dübendorf area and the adjacent city area of Zurich was carried out by the Zurich city and canton police and other municipal police on Friday evening (11.9. 2020). Police officers paid particular attention to the driver’s driving ability.

As part of the main inspection, police officers searched around 280 vehicles and their occupants. Four people received a criminal complaint; two for driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs and two for violating the gun law.
The driver’s license was provisionally withdrawn from two vehicle drivers. About seven drivers of vehicles had to be reported for driving in poor conditions, possession of narcotics, non-compliance with the requirements and technical changes in the vehicle. Various traffic violations resulted in fines and complaint reports.
