If a person tests positive for the coronavirus, someone from the cantonal contact tracing team reports it. Close contacts are then determined together, which are then reported and quarantined. However, due to the large number of cases, contact trackers are no longer able to continuously track in many places.
So what is to be done? The doctor from the highest canton in Switzerland, Rudolf Hauri, asked the population for help on Friday. At the press conference on the current situation, the president of the Cantonal Medical Association said: “People who have tested positive inform their close contacts themselves and promptly so that they can at least behave more cautiously or even better to go into quarantine. “
