Confirmation pending – Dzemaili announces return to FCZ – Sport

After 13 years abroad, Blerim Dzemaili will soon return to the Super League. After the Look had reported on the return of the 69-time Swiss international to FC Zurich, Dzemaili now fueled the rumors himself.

The 34-year-old posted a photo of a lion on a rock on Instagram, below which the Letzigrund can be seen. He backed his publication with the song “I’m Back.”

Dzemaili played his last game for FCZ on April 9, 2007 in a 1-0 draw against Basel. The move abroad continued in the summer of the same year. After a season in England with Bolton, the midfielder moved to Italy (Torino, Parma, Napoli). With Naples, Dzemaili twice won the Italian Cup.

Following a stint in Turkey with Galatasaray, the Swiss returned to Italy in 2015, where he also played for Genoa and Bologna. Later, Dzemaili also made his mark in the North American MLS. Most recently, he was under contract with Shenzhen in China. Dzemaili has been without a club since the end of October.
