The German comedian gave an interview to the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung”. But it was not published. So Böhmermann did it himself, on Twitter.

“I’ve never really seen anything like this,” German comedian Jan Böhmermann tweeted yesterday. To this end, he sent an open letter to Jürgen Kaube, editor of the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”.

It should have been Kaube who wanted an interview with the comedian to be removed from the Sunday edition of the FAZ a few hours before its publication. Böhmermann was informed about this by his publishing house “Kiepenheuer & Witsch” – the comedian is currently on a promotional tour for his new book (read our interview with him about it here). The interview did not appear as a main story in the FAZ features section last Sunday. Böhmermann is now expressing his anger on Twitter.
